French Leaving Certificate classes in Cork (Halfway Village)
Language First Ireland provides French Leaving Certificate grinds . All our teachers are qualified French native speakers. Our Leaving Cert programme is all in French to help students develop their listening and speaking skills. One to one classes, duo or group classes ( max. 6 students)
We provide quality material, clear worksheets and useful vocabulary on each topic of the official curriculum. All of the four parts of the exam are prepared.
Oral: students get to improve their language structures and fluency through regular oral practise exercices with their French teacher.
Aural: listening has to be practised every week. We provide key words, tips and essential vocab worksheets that come up regularly in the exam.
Written expression: we put the emphasis on grammar structures, tenses revision and we provide a lot of useful expressions and vocabulary for written expression.
Reading comprehension: teachers provide tips and they especially work on exam questions analysis to allow students to get as many marks as possible for this part of exam.
Rates for 1 term
Group class: €285 (10 weeks, 1.5 h per week )
Duo: €350 (10 weeks 1.5 h per week)
One to one €450 ( 10 weeks 1 h per week) day class ( up to 4pm)
One to one €570 ( 10 weeks 1 h per week ) evening class ( after 4pm)
Includes: All material + individual written work correction / Mocks exams/ extra free group class every month
Brothers and sisters: -10% discount (only applies from the 2nd child enrolled per family)

Our Leaving Certificate classes take place in our school, in the halfway village, Ballyhoolen, Ballinhassig, T12YA48.

We organize pre exams so students can test their French in real exam conditions and get detailed individual feedback from their teacher.
What do we expect from our students?
Your teacher will expect that you complete one piece of written work for the following class. This will be returned to us, corrected and you’ll receive detailed feedback from your teacher.
You’ll be asked to learn all the vocabulary covered during the class and there will be a quick revision of it each week. LFI Leaving Cert programme will be successful and you will get the grades you need if you are motivated and if you work regularly at home!
